Excellent location, right in the city centre, but poor otherwise

It's a three star hotel, so don't expect more than that. It is exactly what it says. The pictures on their website are misleading; the room, we had stayed in, looked a bit dated and definitely would benefit from a refresh, however it was spacious and comfortable. The mattresses were a bit hard; we were ok with that, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. The housekeeping could be better - they were only doing the bins and were not bothered with anything else. No tea bags top up (we had to ask for extra ones at the reception), no fresh towels, no extra toilet rolls. It was common to find mops and buckets left by cleaners the day before and not collected over night. It was disgusting. The hotel is located in the city centre, which is superb for sightseeing. You have everything you need at a walking distance - the castle, the astronomical clock, the Jewish Museum and many more. A lot of restaurants and pubs are nearby. But with the location come some cons. The noise and the crowd. The noise starts in the early morning, ca. 4am with restaurant deliveries and never stops until late after midnight as people keep shouting and singing. Of course it's not the hotel's fault, but it still affects your sleep. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there is the Fat Cat located in the same building. You will find their leaflet in your hotel room, advertising the all you can eat breakfast. However, be careful as their staff might try to double or triple charge you for breakfast only because you are a foreign tourist. As we were told by our airport transfer driver - it's a typical practice. What a shame! It really leaves a bad impression of Czech people.

Excellent location. The location cannot get better. It’s worth it ! Great and helpful print desk. They have a cafe at the hotel itself. So if you wanna grab a quick bite it helps. The location is the King here. Right in the heart of old town. The hotel covers all basic amenities. Room size was big enough.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and in a safe neighborhood I would say; just 2 minutes walk from the astronomical clock tower and old town square. I pick the right hotel which I’m happy about because I prefer to just walk to all the interesting places to visit at the old town. The property has a bar/restaurant at the ground floor which serves American foods. My room was at the third floor and away from the pedestrian lane so it was not noisy and I can see the sky from my window! The staff were thoughtful and making my birthday memorable with a surprise gift -local chocolate and personalized note.

We stayed here for 4 nights and could not fault it. The staff were exceptional from check in through to leaving on our last day. This was one of the cheapest hotels in Prague when we booked & we were pleasantly surprised. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of the old town and easy to get to everything. We got there quite late on the Friday and the gentleman was lovely. Our room was on the 7th floor and was spacious and clean. The road outside can be quite noisy but wasn’t an issue for us. One thing I would mention is that understandably the rooms do not get cleaned everyday, so we had to ask for extra towels mid way through which wasn’t an issue. Bit of a smell from the bathroom when we checked in , can assume it was to do with the sewage system, again nothing major and that we couldn’t deal with. Do note the shower space In rooms on the top floor is not very spacious, if you’re extra tall you might struggle! On our last day we were able to leave our luggage for free of charge in a locked room so felt very safe leaving stuff here. Thankyou for a lovely stay! We will definitely look here again if we come back to Prague!

Stayed here with my adult son and daughter and 11 year old granddaughter, booked 2 bed apartment with sofa bed. On arrival we were met by a very unfriendly and hostile receptionist. Our sofa bed had no linen and when we asked her for some, she told us we had only paid for 2 beds!!! We spent our first night sharing a double bed between the 3 females after a long day travelling. A lovely guy in reception next morning had sofa bed made up for us. On signing out, we asked if we could store our luggage there while waiting for our flight, the second receptionist didn't take her eyes away from her mobile phone while we followed her to luggage room. I have never met such rude and unhelpful staff in all my travels. There is no lift in section B and we were on 2nd floor, stairs have badly stained carpet. Only upside was fab food and staff in fat cat restaurant. I won't be staying there again
